    1. To

    • Purpose and Use: The word to is a preposition. It is most often used to indicate direction, place, or purpose.
    • Examples:
      • Direction or Place: “I’m going to the store.”
      • Purpose: “She wants to learn Spanish.”
    • How to Remember: Think of to as the word you would use to show where something is going or why it’s happening.

    2. Too

    • Purpose and Use: The word too is an adverb and is used in two main ways:
      1. To mean “also” or “in addition.”
      2. To indicate “excess” or “more than necessary.”
    • Examples:
      • Also/In addition: “I want to come, too.”
      • Excess: “This coffee is too hot.”
    • How to Remember: If you could replace the word with “also” or “very,” then too is usually the right choice. Plus, too has an extra “o,” almost like it’s “extra” in meaning!

    3. Two

    • Purpose and Use: Two is the number 2 in written form.
    • Examples:
      • “They have two children.”
      • “I’ll be there in two minutes.”
    • How to Remember: Two is the only one of the three that represents a number, so when talking about the quantity “2,” this is the form you need.
